ADDRESS: (1901): At the time of the cenus, both sisters were visiting 7 Blakeney Avenue, Beckenham with Grandmother, Aunty & Uncle (Coney). After marriage, lived at 2 James Street, Rochester. In 1928, bought 245 Maidstone Road, Rochester for £680 from Frank Naylor (local undertaker). It was named "Lonsdale" because the house was built by Frank Naylor's father: Frank Lonsdale Naylor.

OCCUPATION: Mum recalls that Nan used to clean for her Dad. He moved to James Street after she married Clarence.

BIOGRAPHY: Although 1901 census suggests that both sisters were living in Beckenham with Coneys, they were both brought up by father. Because her Mum walked out of the marriage, she never had any time for her. Used to sing with Professor Sharp (pianist) for Masonic evenings around Medway Towns.

MARRIAGE: (1915, marriage certificate): Alice Coney, David White & A S Webb (?) witnesses. Note that the certificate has been transcribed by one individual ( Bertie Lycett, Priest in Charge), so A S Webb is probably H S Webb! Met at a concert at the Central Hall, Chatham.
